Confucius was an ancient (551 – 479 BC) Chinese philosopher who has inspired thousands, if not millions of people over the millennia with his moral teachings.
The big idea here is
- To #KeepOnKeepingOn
- Speed is not important
- We just need to get there, even if it’s just getting up and getting dressed
- Those of you that know my story know it has taken me 10 years to get here
Here’s how this applies to us on dialysis:
- Losing our kidney function is a terrible thing, but we must not give up
- Perseverance and endurance will keep us going and see us through
So, let’s put this into action:
- Don’t give up
- Have faith, even when it’s hard
- Choose a hobby or a project that interests or excites you
- Do a little bit each day
- Most of all, follow your renal diet
- I know it’s a struggle, but #KeepOnKeeping on
Oh, by the way…
